The Over‑40s T20 World Cup in Pakistan marked the first time the West Indies Masters participated in T20 cricket at any age level. Although it was their second tour to Karachi within two years, the team was unable to replicate the success of the 45‑over tournament a year earlier, where they reached the final. Nevertheless, several individual performances stood out. Larry Babb finished as the West Indies Masters’ highest run‑scorer, while Antonnel Atwell emerged as the team’s leading wicket‑taker, ranking second overall in the tournament and earning the tournament MVP award.
IMC O50s World Cup 2025 – Sri Lanka
The 2025 Over‑50s World Cup was held in Colombo, Sri Lanka, from February 9–23 and featured 14 teams. West Indies were drawn in Group B alongside Australia, Pakistan, India, Wales, South Africa, and Canada. The campaign began on a positive note with an 18‑run victory over South Africa, but West Indies then suffered three consecutive defeats. They rebounded in the Super League stage with a convincing 10‑wicket win over Zimbabwe before closing the tournament with a 59‑run loss to South Africa in the ninth‑place playoff.
Despite the mixed results, there were several notable individual performances. Anthony Sahadeo was West Indies’ leading run‑scorer, amassing 219 runs at an average of 43.80, including a magnificent century of 101. Zamin Amin topped the bowling charts for West Indies, claiming 13 wickets at an average of 23.23 and an economy rate of 4.95.

The Windies Masters Extravaganza in Barbados brought together players from all three age groups in a vibrant four-team competition that blended preparation, development, and high-level competitive cricket. It was a major success for CWIMA, helping strengthen relationships across the organization while giving players meaningful match experience.
IMC O60S World Cup 2024 – India
The 2024 Over-60s World Cup in Chennai was one of CWIMA’s strongest campaigns to date. West Indies finished 5th and lifted the Plate Championship, powered by a phenomenal tournament from Deonarine Deyal and a superb bowling effort from Zamin Amin. The team’s improvement from the inaugural O60S World Cup confirmed the progress being made in this age category.
MCW O40s Global Cup 2023 – Pakistan
The 2023 O40S Cricket Global Cup in Karachi marked the first appearance of a West Indies Over-40s side on the global stage, and the team responded by reaching the final. With six wins from nine matches, centuries from multiple players, and strong bowling performances throughout the tournament, the squad established itself immediately as a serious force in international Masters cricket.
IMC O50s World Cup 2023 – Cape Town
The West Indies Over-50s squad returned to Cape Town for the 2023 IMC World Cup, competing against 14 nations in one of the flagship events of Masters cricket. The team finished 9th overall and secured the Bowl Championship, with Sunil Dhaniram producing an outstanding all-round performance to lead both the West Indies’ batting and bowling. The campaign reflected both the squad’s quality and the high standards demanded at the World Cup level.
BMC O60s Caribbean Cup 2023 – Barbados
Hosted in Barbados, the 2023 BMC Over-60s Caribbean Cup was an important step in the continued growth of Masters cricket in the region. The tournament brought together six teams for a highly competitive, spirited event that showcased both high-quality cricket and strong international fellowship. West Indies finished third overall, while George Harris emerged as the tournament’s leading batsman with a remarkable 306 runs, including two centuries.
BMC Caribbean Cup 2022 – Barbados
CWIMA’s hosting of the Big Man Cricket Over-50s Caribbean Cup in Barbados was a major organizational breakthrough. The tournament brought together teams from several countries and confirmed CWIMA’s ability to stage international Masters cricket in the Caribbean. The West Indies captured the title, while Zamin Amin was named Player of the Series, capping off a successful and important event for the movement’s continued growth.
Inaugural IMC O60s World Cup 2022 – Australia
West Indies’ participation in the inaugural Over-60s World Cup in Queensland, Australia, was a historic milestone. The campaign was tough, with weather, injuries, and a demanding schedule affecting the squad, but it also marked the region’s entry into a new and growing level of global Masters competition. The experience provided a foundation for the future development of West Indies Over-60s cricket and demonstrated the players’ determination to compete at this level.
Marlborough Cup – England 2022
The West Indies Over-50s tour to England was one of the standout campaigns. The team reached the Marlborough Cup final. The tour was highlighted by centuries from Ishwar Maraj against Wales and Sudesh Dhaniram against India, underscoring the squad’s strength and class on foreign soil.
